Woonona Bulli RSL Club is proud to be the largest club in the northern Illawarra, just 10 minutes north of Wollongong. With more than 13,000 members and over 80 dedicated staff, we offer a wide range of facilities including an in-house brasserie (300 seats), café, bar, gaming room, TAB and sports lounge, auditorium, indoor and outdoor function spaces, and landscaped outdoor play areas.

We also operate a multi-award-winning member-only gym — complete with childcare and free access for all employees.

About the Role
 
We’re looking for a customer-focused leader ready to take the next step in their hospitality career. As a Customer Service / Duty Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations across all areas of the Club, providing leadership, support, training, and direction to your team to ensure every guest enjoys an outstanding experience.

This role is hands-on and fast-paced — perfect for someone who thrives on variety, teamwork, and delivering results under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and support staff during service to maintain operational excellence.
  • Oversee all Club operations, from bar and gaming to food service and functions.
  • Ensure every guest receives an exceptional customer experience.
  • Implement and uphold compliance standards across food, beverage, and gaming.
  • Conduct stock control, banking, and treasury tasks accurately.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues calmly and efficiently.
  • Plan ahead to ensure every shift runs smoothly.
  • Manage conflict and communication effectively with both staff and patrons.
  • Monitor trade levels, allocate resources, and respond to changing demands.
  • Maintain security procedures and safety standards.

Requirements:
  • Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster (including nights, weekends & public holidays)
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and performance-driven
  • Competent in MS Word and Excel
  • RSA, RCG, and Advanced RCG competency (or willingness to obtain)
  • Solid understanding of hospitality and club industry compliance requirements
