Duty Manager / Compliance Officer
Ashfield RSL Club – Inner West Sydney
Full-Time | Tuesday to Saturday

Are you a people-first leader with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for hospitality? Ashfield RSL Club is seeking an energetic and experienced Duty Manager / Compliance Officer to join our leadership team.
This dual role combines operational leadership with the vital responsibility of ensuring our Club meets the highest compliance standards — an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, community‑focused environment.

What You’ll Do
Be the driving force behind the smooth and compliant operation of our Club by:
  • Leading and motivating our team to deliver exceptional service every shift.
  • Overseeing day‑to‑day operations, from bar and gaming to events.
  • Ensuring compliance with RSA, RCG, ARCG, WHS and all internal Club policies.
  • Managing AML/CTF, gaming and other regulatory obligations.
  • Liaising with regulators, conducting audits, and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Promoting a safe, engaged, and team‑oriented workplace culture.
Our ideal candidate
  • Proven leadership experience in clubs, hotels, or a similar hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and reporting frameworks.
  • Current RSA, RCG, ARCG and First Aid qualifications.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach and the confidence to lead by example.
