Wyong Golf Club is seeking a skilled and passionate contract caterer to manage and deliver the Club’s full food offering across our bistro and function operations. With a newly refurbished kitchen, modernised facilities, and a strong membership base, this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic operator to create a fresh, high-quality, and reliable dining experience for members, visitors, and event clients.
The Club is more than a golf course – it is a vibrant community hub hosting a wide variety of functions, events, and promotions throughout the year. We are ready to welcome the right catering partner who can bring creativity, consistency, and professionalism to our venue.
About Our Catering Facilities
- 90‑seat bistro
- Newly refurbished auditorium seating up to 150 guests
- Meeting room accommodating 20 guests
- Newly refurbished commercial kitchen
- Large walk‑in freezer
- Two large walk‑in refrigerated rooms
The ideal catering partner will:
- Be passionate about fresh, high‑quality food and exceptional customer service
- Understand the needs and rhythm of a social/golf club environment
- Deliver consistent quality across bistro dining and functions
- Provide and manage both kitchen and front‑of‑house staff
- Manage and grow the Club’s function and event catering trade
- Maintain excellent hygiene, food safety and presentation standards (Food Safety Supervisor certified)
- Be fully compliant with HACCP principles
- Demonstrate strong understanding of WHS, insurance, payroll, and business compliance requirements
- Manage their own financial operations effectively
- Bring at least 5 years’ experience in a similar catering role (club experience advantageous but not essential)
- Six-month rent-free period to support business establishment
- Negotiable lease terms and utilities
- Rent and maintenance aligned to business scale
- POS and reporting arrangements are negotiable with the successful partner
- Club‑supported marketing and promotional material to help build your success
Interested operators are invited to submit an application including:
- Details of previous and current catering experience (with references)
- Evidence of financial capability to manage a catering operation
- Relevant certifications (Food Safety Supervisor, First Aid, Insurance, WHS, etc.)
- Business structure, staffing plan, and approach to team development
- Sample menus and function packages (including children’s options) with indicative pricing
