The Duke of Marlborough Hotel (Russell) and Charlotte’s Kitchen (Paihia).

About the Roles
We are recruiting for several leadership and coordination positions within our restaurant and events teams, including:
  • Restaurant Manager
  • Assistant Restaurant Manager
  • Weddings & Events / Functions Manager
All roles are hands-on and guest-focused, operating within busy, high-quality venues with successful food, beverage, and events trade.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll become part of a professional and supportive leadership team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and seamless daily operations.
Key responsibilities may include:
  • Leading service or restaurant teams during busy periods
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations across restaurant, bar and events
  • Coordinating weddings, functions, and group bookings
  • Managing staff, rosters, training and service standards
  • Working closely with senior management and kitchen leadership
  • Maintaining high presentation and guest satisfaction standards
  • Ensuring smooth, efficient and compliant operations

What We’re Looking For
We want to hear from hospitality professionals who:
  • Have solid experience in restaurants, bars or event operations
  • Are confident leading or supervising teams
  • Are organised, reliable, and thrive in hands-on roles
  • Bring positive energy and professionalism
  • Enjoy fast-paced, high-standard service environments
  • Have experience in weddings and events management (advantageous)
Management experience is preferred for senior roles, but strong supervisors ready to step up are strongly encouraged to apply.
