General Manager – The Concord

For over 60 years, The Concord has been a place where people come together to eat, drink, connect, and celebrate. Following a major transformation, we’ve reimagined our venue as a vibrant, design-led social destination that fuses heritage charm with a fresh, contemporary hospitality experience.

Now, we’re looking for a visionary General Manager to lead our team and shape the future of one of Sydney’s most loved modern club venues.

About the Role
This is a hands-on, strategic leadership position responsible for the overall operational, cultural, and financial success of The Concord. You’ll oversee a multi-faceted business with a turnover of $17 million+, including:
  • A premium in-house kitchen and dynamic bar offering
  • Live entertainment and curated events program
  • Thriving function and community spaces
  • Member engagement and cultural initiatives

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and develop a large, motivated multi-department team
  • Drive operational excellence and deliver on key financial metrics
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ensure a consistently exceptional guest and member experience
  • Manage entertainment programming and functions
  • Maintain compliance across licensing, safety, and regulatory areas
  • Strengthen community partnerships and membership engagement
  • Champion innovation, creativity, and team culture
