The Juniors is a thriving group of registered Clubs proudly supporting junior sport and the local community across Sydney’s south-eastern suburbs. With venues in Kingsford, Maroubra and Malabar, we are committed to delivering exceptional hospitality, entertainment and memorable member experiences.
Established in December 1959, The Juniors has been an integral part of the local community for over six decades. Our Club is deeply connected to the area we serve — supporting junior rugby league, netball and cricket, and contributing through our Clubs Grant program to organisations such as Youth Off The Streets, the Clontarf Foundation, Sydney Children’s Hospital, and Surf Life Saving across the local region. Proudly affiliated with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, you’ll quickly notice that many of our members seem to have one red eye and one green eye.
We are now seeking an organised, proactive and people-focused HR Co-Ordinator to join our collaborative and supportive team. This is a full-time position, with part-time considered for the right candidate.

This dynamic, hands‑on role is ideal for a bright, positive professional who enjoys working in a structured environment, can confidently manage competing priorities, and takes pride in providing accurate advice and support to both staff and leaders.
Working closely with the HR Manager, you will receive ongoing guidance and development opportunities, with scope to broaden your skills and contribute to more complex HR initiatives as you grow in the role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with end‑to‑end recruitment across the Group
- Preparing Letters of Offer and Employment Contracts
- Facilitating employee onboarding in line with AML/CTF and compliance requirements
- Supporting the delivery of orientation and induction programs
- Co‑ordinating employee offboarding processes in a timely and professional manner
- Providing day‑to‑day HR and administrative support, including maintaining accurate employee records, documentation and HR systems
- Co‑ordinating performance review processes
- Assisting with organising training initiatives and maintaining up‑to‑date training registers
- Supporting the drafting and review of HR policies and procedures
- Providing reliable, responsive support to the HR Manager and the broader business
About You
You’ll be someone who enjoys interacting with people, values accuracy, and brings a calm, professional approach to HR support.
You will bring:
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar HR Co‑ordinator role, ideally within a Club or hospitality environment
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels
- Sound knowledge of HR best practice and relevant employment legislation
- A demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
