South West Rocks Country Club Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Catering Professional to provide and oversee all culinary operations within the Club’s dining and function venues.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly driven industry specialist with a proven history in Club contracting and a sound business model to grow alongside the Club’s exciting development and expansion plans.

About Us
South West Rocks Country Club, located halfway between Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour, is a thriving community hub with over 4,500 members and strong local support. Established in 1958 and fully redeveloped in 2003, it is now the Macleay Valley’s largest and most versatile entertainment and sporting venue.

The Club’s extensive facilities include an 18-hole golf course, three bowling greens, four tennis courts, two croquet courts, and the popular Social Alley, a six-lane tenpin bowling alley with a sports bar. Our auditorium seats up to 300 guests, catering to weddings, corporate functions, and major events, while multiple semi-private and alfresco spaces provide flexibility for casual and event dining.

Dining operations span three key venues:
  • Rocksalt Bistro & Café – offering coastal-inspired dining for up to 150 guests, with a newly refreshed café concept.
  • Social Alley Diner – American sports diner trading seven days a week.
  • Club Events & Functions – a mix of banquet, lounge, and outdoor event spaces.
Key Aspects & Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional food and service across all outlets
  • Design and deliver seasonal menus for casual dining and functions
  • Manage all aspects of kitchen and front-of-house operations
  • Recruit, train, and manage team members to maintain quality and service standards
  • Collaborate with management and event teams to deliver successful functions and weddings
  • Maintain compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards
  • Demonstrate strong business and financial acumen
  • Develop a sustainable and profitable catering model
