Are you looking for a 2IC support role with a successful Club Group that can benefit from your leadership qualities and strong management expertise?
 
Orange Ex‑Services’ Club (OESC) is one of Regional NSW’s leading club groups, based in the thriving Central West city of Orange. With a population of around 44,000, Orange offers an exceptional lifestyle with award‑winning food and wine, excellent schools, modern facilities, strong health services and easy air access.

OESC has a strong membership base of 27,000 and employs around 270 staff across three sites – the Main Club, Country Club and Wentworth Golf Club. Facilities include golf, bowls, tennis, gaming, a destination food and beverage precinct and the 78‑room Mercure Orange motel. The Group generates approximately $40m in annual revenue and is in a strong financial position with clear growth strategies in place.

At the heart of the community, OESC is governed by a committed Board of Directors and is deeply invested in giving back through grants and ongoing local support. This Chief Operating Officer role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Board, CEO and Executive Team to lead day‑to‑day operations while driving operational excellence and supporting the Group’s long‑term strategic growth.

In summary, your role will include:
  • Operational Management across all club businesses
  • People Management
  • Compliance including AMLCTF and Continual Improvement
  • Operational Budgeting, Reporting and Strategy
Ideally you are someone who will bring:
  • Management experience at a Senior level
  • Strong business reporting and analysis skills
  • At least five years operational experience, RSA and Advanced RCG
  • Outstanding leadership, mentoring and motivational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level co-ordination and organisation skills
  • The desire to work closely with the CEO and take on responsibility for the businesses within the Group.
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred but not essential
