Contract Caterer Opportunity
Mollymook, NSW South Coast

Mollymook Beach Bowling Club, part of the St Johns Park Bowling Club Group, is seeking an experienced Contract Caterer to operate its bistro and function catering as part of an exciting new phase for the Club.
Situated on the stunning NSW South Coast, Mollymook is approximately 3 hours south of Sydney and 2.5 hours from Canberra, offering an outstanding coastal lifestyle alongside a genuine business opportunity.

The Opportunity
This contract offers the flexibility to introduce your own food concept and build a sustainable catering business, backed by strong club support.
Key features include:
  • Approx. 150-seat bistro plus a dedicated function kitchen
  • Two kitchens in total:
    • Main floor bistro kitchen
    • Downstairs function kitchen
  • Kitchens currently undergoing renovation, with increased space and new catering equipment
  • Ready to commence 1 July 2026
  • Open to any cuisine – the venue is already equipped with woks, making it well suited to Asian or fusion concepts
  • Generous support from the Club in relation to rent and utilities
  • Further club renovations planned, creating future growth opportunities
Your Responsibilities
The successful caterer will operate as an independent contractor responsible for:
  • Day-to-day catering operations across bistro and functions
  • Menu development, pricing and execution
  • Food quality, presentation and consistency
  • Compliance with HACCP, WHS and relevant employment legislation
  • Employing and managing your own kitchen (and FOH if applicable)
  • Building strong relationships with members, guests and Club management
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience operating a club, pub or high-volume catering business
  • Functions and event catering capability
  • Strong business, financial and kitchen management skills
  • A collaborative, professional approach and a focus on longevity
  • Ability to deliver quality meals at competitive, club-style price points
