Kurnell Community Sports & Recreation Club is perfectly positioned in the heart of the Sutherland Shire, just a short walk from the beaches of Botany Bay and only minutes from Cronulla. Proudly serving the local community, the Club has a long-standing history of supporting local charities, sporting groups, and community initiatives.
With more than 1,600 members, our Club offers a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere and a diverse range of facilities including an indoor/outdoor beer garden, gaming room (20 EGMs), TAB & Keno, tennis courts, darts, and an active fishing club. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a community-focused Club with genuine opportunities for growth and development.
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Duty Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the Club and lead our team on shift. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, and delivering exceptional member experiences.

You will bring a positive, proactive approach and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Ideally, you will have:
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a strong customer focus
- Proven experience in a Duty Manager or similar leadership role within a Club or hospitality environment
- Sound knowledge of gaming, bar, TAB and Keno operations
- Cocktail bar experience (highly regarded)
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills
- Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
- Cash handling experience
- A solid understanding of Work Health & Safety and compliance requirements
- RSA and RCG (or willingness to obtain)
- The ability to learn and work within the Club’s Plan of Management
- A proactive mindset with the desire to contribute ideas to improve efficiency on shift
This role requires flexibility to work a rotating roster including days, nights and some weekends.
