Gaming, Wagering & Compliance Manager
Lead operations | Drive compliance | Report directly to the CEO.

We’re seeking an experienced and strategically thoughtful Gaming, Wagering & AML Manager to lead a critical function of the Club - overseeing gaming operations, wagering services, and the Club’s AML/CTF framework.
This is a hands-on leadership role with strategic impact, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with senior management.

About the Role
This role is responsible for the end-to-end performance, integrity and compliance of the Club’s gaming and wagering operations.
You’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of gaming operations across EGMs, TAB and KENO, while ensuring strong financial controls, seamless reconciliations and a high standard of customer experience.

At the same time, you’ll take ownership of the Club’s AML/CTF program, ensuring systems, reporting and governance meet all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Gaming & Wagering Operations
  • Lead the daily operation of gaming machines, TAB and KENO
  • Oversee jackpots, payouts, cash flows, controls and reconciliations
  • Monitor machine and terminal performance, downtime and maintenance
  • Drive labour efficiency and roster optimisation across gaming teams
  • Ensure wagering operations are accurate, compliant and customer-focused
  • Liaise with TAB and KENO partners on operational requirements and audits
Compliance, AML/CTF & Responsible Gambling
  • Maintain and implement the Club’s AML/CTF Program
  • Monitor gaming and wagering activity for unusual or suspicious transactions
  • Ensure timely submission of TTRs, SMRs and compliance reporting
  • Oversee Customer Due Diligence and AML registers
  • Lead responsible gambling initiatives and harm minimisation practices
  • Ensure all legislative and regulatory requirements are met
Leadership & Governance
  • Lead, develop and support gaming and wagering teams
  • Deliver training across compliance, AML and operational practices
  • Prepare reports for the CEO and Board on gaming, wagering and AML performance
  • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability and high performance
Our Ideal Candidate
You’re a confident and capable leader with a strong background in club gaming operations, supported by sound compliance and AML knowledge. You bring a practical, solutions-focused mindset - equally comfortable managing day-to-day operations on the floor as you are interpreting regulations and reporting at Executive level.

You will bring:
  • Experience in NSW club gaming operations highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of EGMs, TAB and/or KENO environments
  • Proven experience managing reconciliations, cash controls and reporting
  • Demonstrated AML/CTF knowledge within gaming or wagering
  • Solid leadership experience with the ability to build capable teams
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to compliance
  • Current NSW RCG & ARCG and RSA
  • AML/CTF training relevant to gaming or wagering
