Gaming Compliance Officer

Guildford Leagues Club | Western Sydney

Located in the heart of Western Sydney, Guildford Leagues Club is a welcoming and well-established community club where people come together to connect, relax and enjoy great food, entertainment and gaming. We are now looking for an experienced Gaming Compliance Officer to join us and play a key role in maintaining a safe, responsible and fully compliant gaming environment.

About the Role
Working closely with the Gaming Manager and CEO, you will be responsible for ensuring the Club operates in full compliance with all gaming, licensing and regulatory requirements.

This is a hands-on role where you will support operational teams, strengthen internal controls, and help drive a culture of integrity, accountability and responsible gaming across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance with NSW gaming legislation, licensing requirements and regulatory frameworks
  • Develop, implement and maintain AML/CTF and Responsible Gambling policies and procedures
  • Conduct audits and compliance reviews, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions
  • Prepare and submit required reports, including Board reporting on compliance and risk
  • Investigate incidents, breaches or misconduct and oversee resolution
  • Deliver training to staff on compliance obligations, customer identification and ethical conduct
  • Maintain training records and licensing requirements (RCG, ARCG, AML/CTF)
  • Liaise with key stakeholders including Liquor & Gaming NSW, AUSTRAC and system providers (e.g. Max Gaming, IGT, CashTrax, PlayTrax)
About You
You’re a confident and detail-oriented compliance professional who understands the demands of a regulated gaming environment and enjoys working closely with operational teams to get the job done.
You will bring:
  • 3+ years’ experience in gaming compliance or a similar analytical role
  • Strong knowledge of NSW gaming legislation, AML/CTF obligations and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and trends
  • Sound judgement and integrity when handling sensitive matters
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to educate and influence teams
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
