Located 30km west of Sydney, the Smithfield RSL Club is a large established entertainment venue built on strong relationship with its Members and its local community. The Club has undergone a Modern Contemporary refurbishment, supporting an upgraded gaming room, ultramodern TAB & Sporting lounge, stunning Bar & lounge areas and not to mention great restaurants & function facilities.
Smithfield RSL is looking for a Full time Duty Manager who can step up and join our team of Managers. This Duty Managers position is a hands-on role, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our club and ensuring our high standards of service are delivered. This position is best suited for an entry level Manager or highly skilled Supervisor with similar leadership skills and experience.
Our Duty Managers' Key responsibilities include;
- Managing the day-to-day operations of our club.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the Operational team.
- Assist in staff training and coaching others.
- Ensuring our high service standards is provided across all facets of the club.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for members and guests
- Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements
- Effective complaints handling and conflict resolution
- Daily reconciliation of our safe and cash handling operations.
To be considered for our Duty Managers position, you will possess:
- Proven 2 years leadership experience in a similar Hospitality or club leadership role.
- Strong Operational knowledge and experience in Food, Bar & Gaming services.
- A strong work ethic and a genuine desire to succeed.
- Proven Organisation and time Management skills
- The ability to coach, lead and mentor a team.
- Proven conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both Written & Verbal.
- Your Presentation must be impeccable.
- Current RSA /ARCG and tertiary qualification in either Management, Leadership or Hospitality.
- Rights to work in a Full-time capacity.
Our Duty Managers position is a full-time position working a 7-day rotating roster. Smithfield RSL trades 365 days per year therefore, the successful applicant will have the flexibility and available to work a variety of shifts which includes working days, nights, weekends and Public Holidays.
