Club Mount Lewis is a well-regarded, community-focused venue known for its welcoming atmosphere and strong connection to its members and guests. We’re looking for a hands-on Duty Manager who genuinely enjoys being on the floor, supporting their team and delivering great experiences every day.
About the Role
This is a floor-based leadership role where you’ll take ownership of the customer experience while ensuring smooth, safe and compliant operations across the venue.
You’ll lead by example, build strong relationships with members and support your team to deliver consistently high standards across bar, gaming and service areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a small team across bar, gaming and floor operations
- Drive a positive, customer-first culture across every shift
- Deliver exceptional service and lead from the front on the floor
- Ensure full compliance with Liquor & Gaming NSW legislation and club policies
- Oversee gaming and bar operations, including cash handling and shift reconciliations
- Manage and resolve member enquiries and issues with professionalism and care
- Maintain high presentation standards across all areas of the venue
- Support the ongoing coaching and development of team members
- Proven experience in a Duty Manager or similar leadership role within a club or hospitality environment
- Strong operational knowledge across gaming, bar and compliance
- A genuine passion for customer service and member engagement
- Confident communicator with the ability to lead, motivate and support a team
- Solid understanding of RSA, RCG and regulatory requirements
- Hands-on, positive and proactive approach on shift
