Looking to lead a kitchen where great food, a strong team culture and an unbeatable coastal lifestyle come together?

Pambula Top Pub is a much-loved local venue on the Far South Coast, known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality dining and connection to the local community. We're looking for a hands-on Head Chef to lead our kitchen and continue delivering great food and great experiences for our guests.
This is an ideal opportunity for a chef who enjoys being on the tools, takes pride in consistency, and wants to build a high-performing team in a supportive environment.

The Role
As Head Chef, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day kitchen operations, setting the standard for quality, teamwork, and service.
  • Lead and coordinate a busy bistro-style kitchen
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
  • Manage kitchen operations, stock control and food safety compliance
  • Lead, mentor and develop a small kitchen team
  • Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
  • Work closely with venue management to drive a successful operation
About You
  • Previous experience as a Head Chef, or a strong Sous Chef ready to step up
  • Calm and organised under pressure
  • A hands-on leader who leads by example
  • Passionate about quality food and delivering a great customer experience
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety and team management
