Administration Manager

The Randwick Club Group is home to two much-loved community clubs -Coogee Beach Club and The Avenue Bowling Club at Randwick. For generations, our clubs have been at the heart of local life, and as we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Administration Manager to bring order, structure and modern systems to our governance and compliance operations. 

We're seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Administration Manager to take ownership of all governance and compliance matters across the Group. Working closely with the CEO, you will be the backbone of our administrative operations - ensuring the Board is well supported, our records are impeccable, and our clubs remain compliant, efficient and future-ready. 

About the Role 
As Administration Manager, you will: 
  • Manage all governance and compliance matters across both clubs 
  • Prepare, coordinate and distribute Board Papers ahead of meetings 
  • Handle Board and executive correspondence with professionalism and discretion 
  • Act as a key communication link between the Board, CEO, management and staff 
  • Work closely with the CEO on administrative priorities, reporting and governance requirements 
  • Lead the transition to electronic filing, consolidating records into a single, centralised system (“One Spot”) 
  • Digitise and modernise legacy record-keeping - moving the Group from manilla folders to the big screen 
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employment records 
  • Support broader administrative and compliance functions as required 

  
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have: 
  • Proven experience in an administration, governance or compliance management role 
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, record-keeping and compliance obligations (club or not-for-profit sector experience highly regarded) 
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly in preparing Board papers and formal correspondence 
  • Experience implementing or managing electronic document management systems 
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills 
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with senior leadership 
  • Discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential and sensitive information 
  • Highly desired: experience in the registered clubs or hospitality sector, including familiarity with the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, gaming compliance obligations, AML/CTF, Privacy Act and counter-terrorism financing requirements, and workplace health and safety obligations.
