About us

Campbelltown Catholic Club is the premier club in the Macarthur region. Our multi award winning club has a diverse business portfolio delivering services in gaming, food and beverage, fitness and leisure, hotel accommodation, golf, conferencing and entertainment.
  
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, as our Gaming and Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving the performance, leadership and day-to-day success of the Club's gaming operations, customer experience and key operational service areas.
You will bring gaming expertise and commercial acumen to lead high-performing teams, optimise gaming and operational performance, and deliver exceptional experiences for members and guests. Working collaboratively across the business, you will translate strategic priorities into operational excellence by embedding consistent standards, building accountable teams and delivering measurable results.
  
Key Responsibilities
Gaming management and performance: Lead the management and delivery of the Club’s gaming strategy, developing and implementing plans that support revenue growth, customer engagement and ongoing sustainability.
Operations and Customer Experience: Leading effective day-to-day operations by translating strategic priorities into clear plans and actions, ensuring your team are equipped with the tools and vision to deliver operational and customer service excellence.
Strategic People Leadership: Setting clear performance expectations, measures and priorities for the team, building on a culture of accountability, teamwork, customer focus, compliance and continuous improvement.
Commercial Performance: Monitor commercial resources against budgets and targets, optimising financial performance and providing clear initiatives for improvement.
Regulatory Compliance and WHS: Ensure gaming, liquor, AML/CTF and venue operations comply with legislative requirements. Establishing operational procedures that ensure compliance and safety is embedded within all aspects of operations.
  
To be successful in this role, you will have
  • A strong and demonstrated background of management experience in gaming, hospitality, registered clubs or a comparable customer-facing operational environment.
  • A finger on the pulse approach - You will be a gaming expert with an ability to identify opportunities for improvement to keep The Club's gaming strategy and experience at the leading level.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience driving gaming performance, revenue growth and operational efficiencies.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams across multiple operational areas with a commitment to delivering customer service excellence.
  • An ability to work flexibly across the Club’s trading hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays where required.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • A strong knowledge of gaming legislation and regulatory compliance.
