About the Role
We are seeking a strong, motivated leader and team player to join our management team as a Casual Supervisor / Relief Duty Manager. This role reports to the Assistant Manager and is responsible for overseeing shift staff, as well as supporting the daily operations of the Club.
You’ll lead our service delivery team of around 25 employees, taking charge of overall venue operations to ensure superior service, compliance and safety standards are consistently achieved. This is a cracking opportunity to join a dynamic, progressive organisation at a crucial time in our growth.
What You Will Do
- Lead, train, mentor and develop a passionate service team
- Monitor services, promotions and loyalty offerings; provide feedback and recommendations
- Effectively allocate work and supervise frontline teams across the Club
- Handle patron management, enquiries and complaints with professionalism
- Oversee implementation of RSA, RCG and TAB practices
- Ensure policies and procedures are maintained and enforced across all areas
- Maintain high standards of customer service to deliver memorable guest experiences
- Contribute positively to team culture and lead by example
About You
- A keen hospitality professional with a genuine passion for customer service
- At least 3 years’ experience managing all aspects of a venue at Supervisory or Duty Manager level
- Demonstrated ability to supervise, roster, delegate and train employees in a hands-on capacity
- Strong problem-solving, communication and leadership skills
- The ability to work weekends is essential
- Current RSA, RCG, Advanced RCG and TAB/Keno qualifications (essential)
- Sound knowledge of the Clubs industry and broader hospitality trends
- Positive, pro-active and motivated, with the ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Able to lead and inspire a team of over 25+ employees
