Grant is an experienced and accomplished business leader, General Manager, Chief Executive, Finance Manager and Non-Executive Director. With over 20 years spent in member-based organisations managing stakeholders, strategy, workforces and facilities. A highly experienced leader and manager, he specialises in business efficiency and innovation, digital transformation, business analysis and reporting, change management and the customer experience.
Grant is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, has been awarded the Active Certified Club Manager award from the Club Manager Association of Australia and holds relevant tertiary qualifications in business and the Clubs/Hotels industry.
Ian brings over 30 years of senior leadership experience across tourism, hospitality, destination marketing, retail and real estate development. His career has taken him around the globe, having lived and worked in the UK, Europe, the United States and Asia.
In 2016 he founded his own consulting business based out of Hong Kong and in 2019 entered in to a collaboration with a London based business, specialising in retail strategy and placemaking. He is now Chairman of that business, Churchill and Partners and their projects include major mixed use developments in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
Since 2018, Ian and his wife have been living in Australia, in the small coast town of Bermagui. While maintaining his international business interests, Ian is also deeply involved in the local community. He served three years on the board of the Bermagui Country Club, two as President and is currently a Director and Company Secretary of Destination Southern NSW, the regional tourism authority for the region.
